“The Nation” announces presence in Barbados the son of CU 455 flight pilot

BARBADOS,  October 1, 2011.- "The Nation", the largest circulation newspaper in Barbados, revealed today the arrival in the country of Wilfredo Perez, the son fo the Cuban pilot who commanded the line Cuban plane was shot down in October 1976 due to an attack terrorist.

Perez, PhD in Psychology and Medical Ameijeiras Brothers Hospital in Cuba, arrived in Barbados at the invitation of the solidarity movement with Cuba to participate in the Week of Tribute to the victims of the "Crime of Barbados" as is known by the people of Cuba, on the occasion of 35th Anniversary of that fact.

A diary notes, the way the journalist Sanka Price, further states that the peoples of the Caribbean and Barbados in particular, should be clear that what happened in 1976, only because of second did not cause deaths of local citizens, so it must understood that the action was also against Barbados and motivates not only show compassion for the fallen, but alert to the possibility that it can be repeated, especially from the fact that the mastermind of this, responsible for dozens of criminal actions against Cuba, Venezuela and other countries, is still free in Miami.
