Trinidad and Tobago Newspaper "The Guardian" Highlighted the Effects of the US Blockade on Cuba TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, October 28, 2011. In its business section of yesterday's the Trinidad and Tobago newspaper “The Guardian" published full-page interview made by the journalist Raphael John Lall to the Ambassador of Cuba on the island Humberto Rivero Rosario, with regard to the presentation at the United Nations, for the twentieth time, of the Cuban resolution demanding the end of the blockade of the United States of America against Cuba. The interview refers to the impact of the blockade on the Cuban economy, highlights with concrete examples on how this genocidal policy has affected and continues to affect different sectors of the country. It also addresses the opposition to the blockade within American society, as well as the inertia of Obama on the subject.
