Member of Jamaica Solidarity Movement with Cuba Sends Local Media Letter about Case of Cuban Five
JAMAICA, September 5, 2011.- Last 1st September, a member of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba sent a moving letter on the case of our Five Heroes to the Editors of Jamaica’s leading newspapers.
In the afore-mentioned letter, reference is made to the recent visit to Jamaica of Adriana and Olguita, wives of Gerardo Hernandez and Rene Gonzalez, respectively. It is also recalled that both women have not been able to visit their husbands for years due to the denial of the U.S. government. Furthermore, in the letter, President Obama is requested to exercise his constitutional powers and release the Five Cuban antiterrorist fighters. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Jamaica) |
