Raúl Receives Iranian Vice President
During their meeting, the two leaders discussed the excellent state of bilateral relations and their disposition to work to strengthen economic-commercial and cooperative links, as well as issues of international interest.
The Iranian First Vice President conveyed greetings to the Cuban leader from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Present at the meeting on the Iranian side was Ali Chegeni, Iranian ambassador in Cuba and, on the Cuban side, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs. HAVANA, September 9, 2011.- President Raúl Castro Ruz received this Thursday Dr. Mohammad Reza Rahimi, First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is on an official visit to Cuba.
