Saint Lucia celebrates 51st Anniversary of the Committees in Defense of the Revolution After the notes of our National Anthem and the classic Anthem “on every street corner a Committee…” were sung, the political activity began, with which we celebrated the 51st Anniversary of the CDR; held in “The Big House”. On this occasion, the Calypso by the renowned Barbadian Singer and Author “Mighty Gabby” was played, followed by the theatrical work by La Colmenita “Abracadabra”; there was no doubt in the minds of the group of persons gathered there that our activity was fully dedicated to the fight in favor of the release of the Five Heroes; those present included Cuban Collaborators, Officials of the Embassy, Cuban Residents, Saint Lucian Graduates of Cuba, members of the Solidarity Association and Saint Lucians linked to the work of the collaborators. Between tears and reflection and with the commitment of continuing on with their guard up, a toast and good Cuban music brought the activity to a close. (Cubaminrex - Embacuba Santa Lucia)
