Signature of the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Hon. Stephenson King closes the Condolence Book
SAINT LUCIA, September 7th, 2011. The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Stephenson King, who closed the Condolence Book opened at the Office of the Cuban Embassy to pay tribute to deceased Vice President of the State Council and Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, Julio Casas Regueiro, expressed his most heart-felt sympathy on behalf of the Government and people of this small island in the Eastern Caribbean.
The message from the Prime Minister is added to others from Parliamentary Ministers, The Speaker of the House of Assembly, members of the Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia – Cuba), Trade Unionists, Graduates of Cuba, Cuban residents, members of the Cuban State Mission in Saint Lucia and people in General. Standing out among the messages was the one signed by the Leader of the Saint Lucia Labor Party, Dr. Kenny Anthony, who also expressed his pain and sorrow to the Government and people of Cuba, indicating that “a soldier has died but the Revolution in his country that he helped to create will never die, becoming his contribution for ever”.
