Positive Development of Cuba-Norway Relations
HAVANA, February 1st, 2012.- Kjersti Rødsmoen, Deputy Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, traveled to Cuba in an official visit with a work program that included meetings with Cuban authorities and institutions.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Havana, Kjersti Rødsmoen was welcomed by H.E. Ernesto Sentí Darías, Director for Europe. Both parts acknowledged the postive bilateral relations while reiterated the willingness to continue strengthening those ties between Cuba and Norway.
Kjersti Rødsmoen visited places of interest and held meetings with Cuban institutions that have contributed to the relations with the European nation. (Cubaminrex)
