Cuban Collaborators in Namibia hold Scientific Events in salutation of February 24

NAMIBIA, March 1, 2010. - Cuban collaborators working in Namibia held their regional Scientific-Technical Events.  The whole process concluded yesterday in the Katutura Hospital, in Windhoek, with a political-cultural function in commemoration of the liberation deed of February 24.

The function was presided over by Ambassador Ana Vilma Vallejera, and attended by the rest of the Embassy staff, the cooperators in the capital, members of the Association of Cuban Residents “Patria”, as well as some invitees from the Diplomatic Corps and Namibians friends.

According to the members of the different juries, the papers presented through open discussions and posters, had very good quality and dealt with topics related with personal experiences of our collaborators in the service they render to the Namibian society.  

Dr. Alexis Sevilla, National Coordinator of the Comprehensive Care Delivery Program, recognized the results achieved by the different groups and emphasized on the necessity to continue to work hard to widen the extent and quality of the services rendered by the Cuban collaboration in Namibia.(Cubaminrex - EmbaCuba Namibia)
