Boxers from Trinidad and Tobago travel to Cuba.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, March 4, 2011.- Three trinbagonians amateur boxers traveled   last Tuesday 2nd of March   to Cuba to complete their preparations for the first Pan American Games qualifier to take place in Cumaná Venezuela from March 23-30.

The sport delegation comprise light heavyweight Andrew Fermin, who in recent times has been the most successful local pugilist, Aaron Hassette and Christopher de Freitas, and the coach Reynold Cox. Fermin is the local light-heavyweight champion. He was a silver medallist at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games last year in Puerto Rico.

The Trinitarians boxers will hold joint training with the local pre-selection team (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Trinidad y Tobago)
