BARBADOS, May 6, 2011 .- Phrases like this were repeated the memorable evening that the Cuban Ambassador in Barbados Lissette Perez met with about 80 of more than 300 benefited from Operation Miracle Barbadians.
Most older people, said the representative of our country praised their treatment in Cuba, the professionalism of doctors and nurses and the care with which they were treated. More than 15 narrated details of the journey, the fears and uncertainties as of the beginning and then when the light turned to enable them to enjoy the colors, the game of grandchildren and their zeal for religion.
In a country with deeply rooted Christian traditions, most participants expressed that their prayers are proprietary to Cuba and its people as a sign of solidarity among people is unwavering.
