Jamaican nurses traveled to Cuba for training in the area of Nefrology.

JAMAICA, January 20, 2011.- A group of 16 Jamaican nurses who work in the public health system, traveled to Cuba this Wednesday, January 19, to receive a one-week training program (clinical expertise) in the area of Nefrology.
This course is taking place at the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey.
Recently, Honourable Rudyard Spencer, Minister of Health of Jamaica, pointed out that this program is part of the strategies aimed at boosting the dialysis program within the public health system in the country.
