Fidel Meets with Latin American and Spanish Intellectuals

CUBA, November 24th, 2010.- Cuban leader Fidel Castro met on Wednesday with Latin American and Spanish intellectuals attending the International Colloquium "Latin America and the Caribbean: between independence from colonial metropolis to emancipating integration,” under way in this capital.

Current issues, both regional and international, were analyzed during the over three-hour meeting, in which thinkers of the stature of Mexican Pablo González Casanova and Argentinean Atilio Borón participated.

While announcing this meeting, the Cuban Television’s Round Table program pointed out that it became a fruitful exchange on the realities of the peoples of The Americas. (Cubaminrex - ACN)
