Book with Fidel Castro’s Reflections in Sinhalese.

SRI LANKA, August 16, 2011.- A book containing the Sinhalese version of 20 reflections posted so far this year by Fidel Castro Ruz was release  yesterday in Colombo to  salute  the 85th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.

The 164-page volume entitled "Reflections of Fidel" was prepared by staff of the National Liberation Front party and launched at the event organized to celebrate the birthday of the Cuban leader at the headquarters of the Film Foundation of Sri Lanka, where also  the Oliver Stone’s film "Comandante" was screened.  The publication of the reflections on the language of the majority of the Sri Lankan provides an opportunity to the readers of this community to learn about the latest work of Fidel.
 

During the presentation and celebration, the party leader National Liberation Front, Wimal Weerawansa gave a speech in which he emphasized the contribution from Fidel to the struggle against imperialism in our time and his legacy for future generations.  (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Sri Lanka)
