Concert Pays Homage to Fidel Castro on his 85th Birthday.

CUBA, August 9, 2011.- The Cultural Center of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of the Americas (ALBA), in this capital, hosted a concert Tuesday evening to homage Fidel Castro in his 85th birthday, next August 13.

The concert comes on the heels of a call by the Guayasamin Foundation to pay tribute to  the Cuban Revolution leader,  described as a man, whose life and work have taken values such as dignity, sovereignty and international solidarity to the highest levels of human history.”

Some renowned figures that joined the concert included Argentinean Raly Barrionuevo, Uruguayan Daniel Viglietti, Paraguayan Ricardo Flecha, Chilean Pancho Villa and Cuban Vicente Feliu and the Buena Fe duet. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
