Documentary “Moments with Fidel” to be Screened in Argentina. CUBA, 04 August 2011.- Ten thousand copies of the documentary “Moments with Fidel,” which is part of the series Cuba: Caminos de Revolucion (Cuba: Paths of Revolution) will be delivered in Argentina on August 7 and put at the disposal of the public, as a tribute to the Cuban revolutionary process and its historical leader, Fidel Castro. The documentary, with script and direction by Rebeca Chavez- a well known Cuban documentary maker, who has also made incursions into the world of feature films with Ciudad en Rojo (City in Red)-, allows for an approach to the strong relationship that has existed between Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and his people for over 50 years. The permanent dialogue reflected in the more than 54-minute material, offers the public the opportunity of experiencing the intense communication established between the main characters during the dissimilar conflicts and confrontations they have been exposed to throughout the revolutionary process. “Moments with Fidel” is a production by the Cuban Film Institute, with music by Edesio Alejandro and Ernesto Cisneros. This presentation is another demonstration of support towards the Caribbean island, which follows that of April, when 10,000 copies of the documentary Los cuatro años que estremecieron al mundo (The four years that shook the world) were delivered on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Bay of Pigs victory.
