China Powerhouses at Cuba Info Fair
CUBA, February 14, 2007.- Ramiro Valdes Menendez, Commander of the Cuban Revolution, met here at the 2007 Informatics Convention and Exposition with leaders of top telecommunications companies in China, to whom the fair is dedicated.
The head of Informatics and Communications here held talks with representatives of the Chinese company, Potevio, and the ZTE Corporation, reported the National Information Agency, saying he expressed interest in mobile and static telephone equipment.
ZTE Corporation, the worlds largest supplier of telecommunications, is headquartered in China with more than 60 offices worldwide, and offers a wide gamut of services.
Both companies of that Asian nation are sponsors of Informatics 2007 that began on February 12 with 13 scientific meetings between the over one thousand delegates from 58 countries.
Wang Zhong Fu, president of China Potevio offered a conference during the morning session entitled Informatization, Innovation and Development of the Telecommunications Industry. (Cubaminrex-PL)
