Cuba Promoted in Saint Lucia as Tourist Destination

CUBA, May 29, 2009. The Saint Lucia –Cuba Friendship Association is carrying out a campaign to promote the archipelago as a tourist destination combining healthy recreation and health tourism.

The main attraction of the tourist package is the level and prestige achieved by Cuban medicine and the possibility of enjoying specialized medical services on the archipelago, while vacationers spend a week in various locations and visit places of historical, cultural and recreational interest.

The most important media outlets in Saint Lucia have begun to publish the interviews made by Rawle Harvey and Maurice Moffa, president and press secretary of the Saint-Lucia Cuba Friendship Association, respectively.

These interviews deal with the fourth excursion to Cuba organized for July and August, with an eight-day package that includes stays in Havana and Varadero beach, the Cuban Foreign Ministry web site reports. (Cubaminrex- ACN)
