Case of the Cuban Five Highlighted at Internatinal Workshop

HAVANA,  November 30, 2011.- The new challenges to Cuba and the Third World before the current sceneries of digital communication is the principal issue to debate this afternoon at the International Workshop on Alternative Media and Social Networks.

Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, attended the workshop and discussed about key aspects of the strategic battle within the social networks. Likewise, relatives of the Cuban Five Heroes participating at the event highlighted the silence surrounding the international mass media on the case  and denounced the traditional cyber attacks  suffering the alternative media that offer information on the five Cuban antitterrorists.

The event scheduled to conclude this afternoon, will issue a statement in solidarity with Mexican newspaper La Jornada that is under  unjust accusations because of “supposed” relations with terrorism. (Cubaminrex)
