International Workshop on Alternative Media and Social Networks to be Held in Havana.

HAVANA, November 28, 2011.- The International Workshop “Alternative Media and Social Networks, new sceneries of the political communication online”  will be celebrated next November 29-30, in the Conventions Palace in Havana.

The event, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, will have different areas of discussion to share experiences and enhance the debates on diverse issues related to the changes in the international media  and the role of the new communication platforms. During the workshop, participants will also discuss the importance  of the alternative media and social networks within Cuba and the rest of the Third World ´s media battle to have a place in the international communicative scenery.

Delegates from ten countries has confirmed their participation, among them, representatives from Latin American Chanceries and Ministries of Communication. (Cubaminrex)
