Cuba Achieves Oral Health Despite the Blockade

CUBA, June 21, 2010. Cuba has completed oral health goals for children despite the U.S. blockade. Doctor Estela Gisper, president of the Cuban Dentistry Society, explained to journalists in Havana that among the achievements is the absence of cavities in 50 percent of the population between five and six years old.

The achievements in the specialty will be presented at the International Dentistry Convention of 2010, which will take place this week with various participants from Cuba and around the world. (Cubaminrex- RHC)
