CUBA, July 27, 2010.- The National Popular Power Assembly, or Parliament, will receive the Commission of Attention of Youth, Children, and Equality of Women’s Rights on Wednesday. The work of this commission will be initiated with a critical analysis and dialogue of its 35 members with the principal directors of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television about the image of women and youth and the themes of gender and values on Cuban television.

The participants of the Commission will also engage in exchanges with representatives from the Ministry of Labor and State Security, as well as receive information about the process of transformations in the educational sector, and the media campaigns against the Revolution, before the Committee to Eliminate Discrimination against Women at the end of this year.
