CUBA, July 28, 2010.- The work sessions of the 12 Permanent Commissions of the Cuban parliament began Wednesday. The National Assembly of Peoples´ Power, or Parliament, will meet and receive information from various ministers until August 1st. Two of the main subjects to be debated are the Street Safety Laws and the modification of the Political-Administrative Division. Ramón Pez, the head of the International Relations commission, said that this group will analyze the current situation in Haiti, the foreign collaboration in various Cuban municipalities, and the role of the United Nations in addressing world problems.
