Cuba Presents Second Periodic Report to the Children’s Rights Committee.

CUBA, June 7, 2011.- Deputy Foreign Minister, Abelardo Moreno Fernández, heads the Cuban delegation that will participate in the presentation of Cuba’s second periodic report, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child to be held on the forthcoming June 8th, in Geneva, Switzerland.

Cuba’s presentation before the Children’s Rights Committee is an expression of Cuba’s permanent commitment to the attention of boys, girls and adolescents in our country.

Cuba will be represented by a multi-task delegation with a vast experience in the implementation of the Convention and composed of Government representatives and social organizations. (Cubaminrex)
