Cuba for Eradication of Military Bases.

CUBA, April 27th, 2011.- Representatives of friends of Cuba from more than 20 countries will participate in the 2nd Peace Seminar for the Abolition of Military Bases that will be held in May in the Guantánamo province. Vice-president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Elio Gámez, explained that the purpose is to condemn once more the interference of the richest groups over the sovereignty of the humble countries. He added that in this meeting the participants will also call for world peace and speak out against the wars in Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq. The event will take place in Caimanera, where the illegal U.S. naval base is located. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
