This celebration will be a brilliant culmination of the massive debate carried out by workers and people in general of the Guidelines for Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution finally adopted at the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) added Valdés Mesa, in statement to Granma newspaper.
The participants will also demand the immediate release of the Cuban Five, Gerardo Hernández, René González, Ramón Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez, imprisoned in the U.S. since 1998 for informing on the criminal plans of anti-Cuban groups settled in the U.S. state of Florida.
