of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce is an autonomous, self-financed public institution whose fundamental objective is to contribute to the economic and commercial development of the country, and the fulfillment of its members' business objectives. It is a public administrative advisory body whose members join voluntarily, and currently include more than 500 Cuban manufacturers, marketing firms and service companies. The Chamber provides assistance to Cuban members, to the branch offices of foreign companies accredited in the country, and to all those interested in doing business with Cuba. The Chamber of Commerce is also the headquarters of the World Trade Center Habana, Trade Point Habana, Buró EAN Cuba and EUROCENTRO Cuba. The Chamber's General Assembly of Members is its highest leadership body, and it also has a president, a vice president and a general secretary who make up the Executive Board, as well as eight directors who sit on the Executive Council. The main headquarters is in the national capital and it has five territorial delegations located in the provinces of Santiago de Cuba, Matanzas, Villa Clara, Camagüey and Holguín. |
