Havana, Dec. 22, 2005. (Prensa Latina) The Cuban economy registered an 11.8 percent GDP growth in 2005, Economy and Planning Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez, reported to the National Peoples Power Assembly (unicameral Congress), which includes the added value of social services.
This is the greatest growth in the Revolution´s history, Rodriguez revealed.
The Caribbean nation is at a decisive step to assure the continuity of the revolutionary process and so it is prioritizing key sectors related to development, added the minister.
In this context, the younger generations are demonstrating the ethics and correctness of the socialist society, said Rodriguez.
