Oil output goes up to 700 000 ton Cubasi Cuba’s Perforation and Extraction Oil Enterprise (EPEP-C) situated in the town of Cárdenas, Matanzas, recently surpassed its production rate amounting over 700 000 ton of raw oil currently used to generate electricity, said a local source. According to EPEP-C it fulfils this year’s oil output plan at 98,30 % thanks to the implementation of a handful of techno-geological measures enabling to increase pumping and extraction from the wells. The enterprise delivered 196 million m3 of gas that was before ejected into the air and is now used to generate electric power through Energás project. EPEP-C expects to reach one million 740 000 ton of raw oil. By 1995, nevertheless, this enterprise achieved one million ton and from then on its productive rate is increasingly growing due to both high efficiency and fulfilment term shortage. Techno advances at the enterprise include; efficient boiler system, for naphtha diesel used as transport solvent, hydro-carbon treatment and an ecological impact program all being responsible for the recognition gained and a number of commendations granted given it’s also the reference center for pure air program. |
