Inauguration of Djibouti Embassy in Cuba

CUBA, April 29, 2009. Djibouti Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mahmoud Ali Youssouf inaugurated the premises of the Djibouti Embassy to Havana. Cuban FM Bruno Rodriguez was also present at the official inaugural ceremony and held conversations with the African FM.

Djibouti Foreign Minister signed the visitors book and stressed the inauguration of Djibouti Embassy in this island represents a historical event in the process of the consolidation of friendship and cooperation among both countries.

Rodriguez expressed he gladly attends this inaugural gala, he sent official greetings to the diplomatic body and to the students from Djibouti in Cuba, as expression of the excellent bilateral ties.

Youssouf is visiting Havana City, attending the NAM Ministerial Meeting, in session in Havana convention Center until April 30.(Cubaminrex- PL)
