Cuba Condemns NATO Military Intervention in Libya.
BELGRADE, September 7, 2011.- Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Abelardo Moreno has strongly criticized NATO's military intervention in Libya and urged the West to avoid a similar scenario in Syria.
While speaking during a meeting celebrating half a century of the Non-Aligned Movement, Moreno said ¨The Europeans say that these are preventive wars to protect civilians, but actually the goal is creating a crisis on the sovereignty of other countries.¨

During a two-day meeting, which ended Tuesday, more than a hundred delegates participated in the activities to celebrate the anniversary of NAM, whose first conference was held in Belgrade on September 1-6, 1961.
