The Cuban Parliament Sends Letters of Condolences to Japan.

CUBA, March 17, 2011.- Cuban Parliament President Ricardo Alarcon sent his deepest condolences to the relatives of the victims and to the Japanese people and government and his best wishes for a speedy recovery of the wounded.

In letters sent to Takahiro Yokomichi, President of the Japanese House of Representatives, and Takeo Nishioka, President of the House of Councilors, he expressed his sorrow, as well as on behalf of the Cuban Parliament and people, for the serious human and material damages caused by the earthquake and the tsunami that followed.

Alarcon also sent the solidarity and condolences of the Cuban deputies and people to the relatives and friends of the deceased and the wounded, with the conviction that the Japanese people and authorities will manage to get over current difficulties. (Cubaminrex-AIN)
