Solidarity with Cuba is present in Durban

Durban, May 1st, 2010.- A group of members of the solidarity movement with Cuba in the city of Durban, ratified its opposition to the anti Cuban media campaign, during a meeting with the Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Mr. Angel Villa.

Krish Govender, member of the national executive of the South African Progressive Lawyer Association (NADEL) ratified the statement made by this organization in 2009, regarding the legal violations committed during the trial of the Five Cubans, which serves as a valid reason to continue fighting for their immediate release.

The solidarity group also interacted on the consequences of the US blockade against Cuba because the continuation of this policy against the will of the international community.
