Solidarity message with Cuba from a surinamese political leader.

Dear comrades from Cuba :

I congratulate hereby Cuba with the solidarity success. Once again it has been proven that the whole world finds the blockade against Cuba unfair. The demand of unconditional ending of that blockade is justified.
In my opinion, the unlawful incarceration of the five Cubans who have been locked up since many years in the US should also be viewed in the light of the atrocities against the people of Cuba who have never committed acts of aggression against the USA. The mere fact that they desire their own development which is supported by the people of Cuba is reason enough for the USA to commit cruelties of which the unlawful incarceration of the Five is only one in this sequence.

I will not forget that Fidel Castro was able to survive hundreds of attacks from the CIA.
I will not forget  that the USA is the base of terrorist activities against Cuba of so called Cuban exiles.
I will certainly not forget that these terrorists can move freely and safely in the USA without the risk of being arrested and brought to court.

It is ironic that Cuba that has no history of harboring terrorists is being accused of just that by the USA.
Out of respect for international law the US administration should end all acts of aggression against Cuba and enter into normal relations with Cuba based on equality. In view of this, the critique of Clemenceau once again comes clearly to my mind: “America is the only nation in history which miraculously has gone directly from barbarism to degeneration without the usual interval of civilization.”
