Bulgarian Magazine Dedicates First 2011 Issue to Cuba.

CUBA, March 23, 2011.- The Bulgarian bi-monthly magazine "Ponedelnik" (Monday), dedicated its first 2011 issue to Cuba, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The publication of the "Center for Strategic Studies," which covers theoretical, political and cultural topics, offers readers several articles about the Caribbean island, headed by the one entitled "Cuba in the 21st Century - Ideas about its Development."

This issue also features a summary of the meeting held between Revolution leader Fidel Castro and Cuban students in November, 2010, as well as a version of the speech delivered by Cuban President Raul Castro at the Cuban Parliament.

The director of the magazine and a friend of Cuba, Alexander Lilov, published an interesting article entitled "The Cuban Model of Socialism," in which he emphasizes the role of personality in social and political processes and the genius of certain people, to assert that socialist Cuba would not have existed without Fidel Castro.

Kadrinka Kadrínova, Vice Editor in Chief of the "Tema" magazine and member of the Bulgaria-Cuba Friendship Association, publishes a well documented article entitled "El Camino Cubano", in which he focuses on the process of updating of the Cuban economy.

In the space of the magazine entitled "Solidarity with the Five," there’s an article with details on the trial that ends with their unfair imprisonment, and includes the poem "Patria Querida, Feliz Año Nuevo", written by Antonio Guerrero on December 21 2010. (Cubaminrex-PL)
