France to Host Actions of Solidarity with Cuba.
CUBA, February 3rd, 201.- French people are taking forward actions of solidarity with Cuba in support to the struggle against the U.S. economic blockade and to the cause of the five Cuban antiterrorists unjustly imprisoned in the U.S.
About 500 people participated in an evening of solidarity with Cuba sponsored by the Cuba Linda and Cuba Si France Associations in the cities of Perigueux-Boulazac.
During the meeting, they talked about the Cuban situation and invited the rest of the participants to visit Cuba in the trip “After the tracks of the Cuban Revolution” organized by the Cuba Linda Association.
A meeting called “A night for Cuba and the Cuban Five” was organized on January 29, in Val d’Orise, where journalist and writer Maurice Lemoine launched his book “Five Cubans in Miami.” Every month, meetings for the release of Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino and Fernando Gonzalez ––internationally known as the Cuban Five–– take place in this nation.
The French people have also condemned the unjust incarceration of the Cuban Five in the mainstream media. (Cubaminrex-Cuban News Agency)
