Ghanaian Residents in Bahamas Showed Gratitude to Cuban Revolution.
BAHAMAS, 18 March, 2011.- "I am a competent professional and a better human due to the generosity of the Cuban Revolution", expressed Martin Mumuni Danaah, a Ghanaian national who graduated in Cuba, during the solidarity meeting that was organized by the Embassy of Cuba in the Bahamas on March 18, 2011. Daniel Ohene Agyekum, High Commissioner of Ghana in the Bahamas, who in addition is accredited as Ambassador of his country in United States, attended the meeting.
Deeply moved, the Ghanaian Ambassador exchanged with dozens of Ghanaian who live in the Bahamas and expressed gratitude for the gesture of the Embassy of Cuba and especially of the Ambassador Jose Luis Ponce for facilitating the meeting with his compatriot. He was accompanied by his wife Rose Ohene Agyekum and First Secretary Kwadwo Boateng.
The Ambassador Jose L. Ponce mentioned that there are good relations between the Ghanaian community, the Embassy and the Cuban residents in the Bahamas. He referred to the Ghanaian residents as part of Cuba in the Bahamas and highlighted the feelings of brotherhood of the Cuban people towards Africa. (Cubaminrex-EmbaCuba Bahamas)
