Bay of Pigs Victory Celebrated in North Korea.

DPRK, April 12th, 2011.- Various activities are held in the North Korean capital to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victory of the Cuban forces over the U.S. invasion in the Bay of Pigs and the upcoming congress of the Communist Party in Cuba.

In the opening Cuban ambassador to North Korea, José Manuel Galego Montano, stressed the conviction that regardless of the current conditions, the island will develop the economy and will overcome all setbacks.

The event wound up the donation of books about Cuba to the Great People’s Library and to the Foreign Languages Institute in Pyongyang. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
