Cuban experts exposed the reality that should govern the fight against terrorism at the workshop outlined by the UN in Barbados
 
Barbados, November 28, 2010.- As part of the “Workshop on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Maritime Terrorism" organized by United Nations, and held between 24 and 26 of November in Barbados, the Cuban experts Oscar León González, Deputy Director of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Frank Millán García, specialist on International Cooperation in CITMA,  clearly and precisely expressed what is the current real situation in the fight against terrorism and reiterated the Cuban political opposition to this evil, wherever it comes from.

Addressing about 25 delegates from 16 countries meet, the Cuban specialists, outlined with examples backed by the hostile political history and complicit U.S. in terrorist actions for over 50 years against Cuba and  recalled to the need to take serious action against those who promote terrorism in all its variants.

In this context, the experts recalled that the workshop was being carried out not far from where in 1976, as result of the most serious terrorist act committed against an aircraft in flight, killing 73 people and the perpetrators are walking slowly through the South Florida as an example of U.S. double standards in his "Carare" fight against terrorism.

At the end of this note, the Cuban representatives, held a lively meeting with members of the Cuban Mission in Barbados, which exposed the importance of this workshop in an effort to continue to demand that the world conduct a real policy against terrorism, and that Cuba once again expressed its dignified performance.
