Havana, Apr 14 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Fidel Castro denied rumors by South Florida"s media and the attorney arranging for the US asylum for Cuban-born terrorist Luis Posada Carriles that Cuba wishes him dead.
"We do not wish him to vanish from the earth, on the contrary, we want him to show up so we can see what are they going to do with him," said the Head of State.
Fidel Castro denounced the US government"s conspiracy to keep the case quiet until after the 61st UNCHR session adjourns.
"Let"s see what are they going to do. I guess they are praying for a stroke to get rid of him and bury the issue. Since Posada is putting his friends in the government under huge stress, it is better that he stays there just to see what they are going to do with him," he commented.
The
monster (Posada Carriles) now circulates in the arteries of the empire, not
in Central America as he used to in the past, with US knowledge and protection.
They are the ones truly wishing him dead since they do not know what to do
with him," he added.
Fidel Castro promised to follow the case and see what the White House and
its European Union acolytes will say.
This is the second address by the Cuban leader to denounce the renowned terrorist, who blew up a Cubana airliner flying between Caracas-Havana killing all 76 people aboard, amongst many other terrorist actions.
In his April 11 address, the Cuban leader accused the US of enormous hypocrisy considering Washington"s current anti-terrorist crusade.
For the last two speeches on this issue, the auditorium was occupied by victims and relatives of those killed in terrorist attacks against the Island.
