Havana, May 27 (Prensa Latina) Journalist Alicia Herrera, author of the book on the Cuban civilian plane bombed in 1976, urged the US to extradite to Venezuela terrorist Luis Posada Carriles and his accomplices.
On addressing the Round Table, journalist Herrera showed or red new documents proving Perez's omplicity along with other Venezuelan executives in the escape or acquittal of these criminals. She also expressed her desire to testify if there is a trial.
Herrera said Venezuelan ex President Carlos Andres Perez and his government’s cquittal or help to the terrorists escape. Orlando Bosch, released in 1988 by Perez’s government, found refuge in the US thanks to a pardon given by the Bush Senior Administration.
In the presence of Cuban President Fidel Castro, Herrera red some excerpts of her interviews to the bombers, adding that its title "Pusimos la bomba ¿Y qué?" is a quotation from one of the terrorists that admitted to the mid-flight blast.
