CUBA, December 20, 2006.- Honduran Foreign Minister Milton Danilo Jimenez Puerto begins an official Cuba visit Wednesday, invited by his counterpart Felipe Perez Roque. The objective of the Honduran minister is to increase mutual friendship and discuss cooperation ties in health, education, agriculture, sports and others. As part of his agenda, Jimenez Puerto is expected to place a wreath to the monument of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti, at Havana s Revolution Square. The diplomat will also tour places of economic, cultural, historic, educational, and scientific interest, and meet with Cuban authorities from the ministries of foreign investment and economic collaboration, and public health. Cuba-Honduras diplomatic relations were reestablished on January 26, 2002. (Cubaminrex-PL)
