Fidel Message Sent to Bolivia La Paz, Aug 5/2006 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Deputy President Carlos Lage Saturday expressed a friendly and fraternal greeting to the Bolivian people on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, who is recovering favorably after an intestinal operation. Lage arrived in La Paz to participate in the central activities for the establishment of the Constituent Assembly to take place August 6 in the southern city of Sucre, Bolivia s historical capital. The high-ranking official was received by the Bolivian Deputy President Alvaro Garcia and the Cuban ambassador Rafael Dausa. Lage declared that his presence in that country is a sample of the great admiration of his people and the leader of the Revolution for President Evo Morales and the struggle he heads to re-found the nation. The Cuban deputy president described the establishment of the Constituent Assembly as a fact of great political relevance not only for Bolivia but for all of Latin America.
