CUBA , August 28, 2007.- Cuba sees a number of official foreign visits this week. Secretary General of the Ibero-American Cooperation Secretariat Enrique Iglesias arrives in Havana on an official invitation from the Cuban government. The trip to Cuba is the Uruguayan's second in his current post held since late 2005. During his stay on the island, Iglesias will hold talks with Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque and meet with other Cuban leaders. He will also visit places of scientific and social interest. Cuba is participating in the activities, events and projects promoted by the Ibero-American Conference. The next Ibero-American Summit is scheduled for Chile from November 8 to 10. The gathering was convoked under the central theme of social cohesion and policies to reach more inclusive societies in Ibero-America. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
