CUBA, January 10, 2007.- Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, Communist Party Political Bureau member and vice president of the Council of State, heads the official Cuban delegation to Wednesday’s inauguration in Managua of Daniel Ortega as president of Nicaragua. During their stay in the Central American country, the Cuban delegation will hold talks with the new Nicaraguan authorities and other official delegations present at the ceremony. The Cuban delegation also includes: Fernando Remirez de Estenoz, member of the Communist Party Secretariat and head of the International Relations Dept. of the Central Committee; Jose Arbesu, vice director of that department; and Alejandro Gonzalez, vice minister of Foreign Affairs.
