Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega Visits Cuba CUBA, 16 June, 2007.- Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega Saavedra, arrived in Havana on a working visit, after an international tour that included Venezuela, Algeria, Libya and Iran. The visit takes place within the framework of the excellent relationship of friendship and collaboration existing between the two countries that are part of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) along with Venezuela and Bolivia. Ortega was received at the Jose Marti International Airport by Carlos Lage Davila, vice-president of the Council of State and Felipe Perez Roque, minister of Foreign Relations. (Cubaminrex-PL)
