CUBA, October 13, 2007.- President Fidel Casto met in Havana with his Venezuelan counterpart, Hugo Chavez who is in Cuba on a working visit. Both leader talked about history, bilateral relations, Latin America and legendary guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara The Venezuelan Head of State was welcomed at the Jose Marti International Airport by Vice President Carlos Lage and Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque. President Hugo Chavez is accompanied by several government ministers and other renowned Venezuelan personalities. The objective of the visit is to review the progress of bilateral agreements, as well as the projects that are being developed in the framework of the Bolivarian Alternative for the People of the Americas (ALBA). As part of this visit, President Chavez's weekly TV and radio program Aló Presidente will be broadcast tomorrow, Sunday, from the central city of Santa Clara.
