SURINAME, April 7, 2008. The ambassador of Cuba in Suriname Andrés González Garrido had an encounter with Anwar S. Lall Mohamed, President of the SKY Radio- TV channel. During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat offered update information about Cuban policy, as well about favorable results of the third Join commission Suriname-Cuba, celebrated in Paramaribo on February 28 and 29. He expressed that Cuban medical brigade, who are working in Suriname have gained recognition from Surinamese people. The Cuban ambassador commented that despite Washington’s hostile economic policy against Cuba, the blockade imposed, and propaganda against revolution, Cuba is an example of independence and dignity , and had obtained important successes in the field of health , Education, Sports, Culture, etc Sky TV channel have broadcasted many Cubans documentaries, showing the reality of Cuban revolution , about the international campaign for a release of Cuban five heroes , unjustly prisoners in American jails, and others dedicated to revolutionary life of Cuban leader Fidel Castro Ruz and to Ernesto Che Guevara.
