CUBA, January 14, 2008.- Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva arrives in Cuba Monday for an official visit, in which he will ink several accords in areas of common interest. Foreign Minister Celso Amorim, Development, Trade and Industry Minister Miguel Jorge, Education Minister Fernando Haddad, and Health Minister Jose Gomes Temporao, as well as Petrobras oil company president Jose Sergio Gabrielli de Azevedo will accompany the statesman. Lula"s visit will deepen ties of friendship and cooperation existing between the two countries, Granma newspaper reported today. Also on the list is to hold official talks with Cuban First Vice President Raul Castro, and visit sites of historic, scientific and educational interest, the daily states. (Cubaminrex-PL)
