CUBA, October 20, 2008. Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque begins on Monday an official visit to Mexico at the invitation of his Mexican counterpart, Patricia Espinosa Castellano. According to Granma news daily, this visit follows on from the 3rd Meeting of the Cuba-Mexico Permanent Mechanism of Information and Political Consultation that took place in Havana last March on the occasion of Espinosa’s official visit to the Caribbean country. The agenda of the Cuban diplomat in Mexico includes official talks with his Mexican counterpart as well as meetings with other authorities, legislators and businesspeople. Both FMs are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding to guarantee legal, organized and safe migratory flow between both countries. (Cubaminrex- ACN) |
