Suriname. October 22, 2008. Andrés Gonzalez Garrido, Cuban Ambassador to Suriname, delivered on behalf of Raúl Becerra, President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, an invitation letter to Robert L.A. Ameerali, Chairman of the Suriname Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to attend the 26th edition of the Havana International Fair to be held from 3-8 November at the EXPOCUBA Fairgrounds. FIHAV as the fair is commonly known, sets itself apart as the exhibition bringing together from all over the world companies and businesses that in some way maintain commercial links with Cuba. The last edition of FIHAV was prove of this with the participation of 52 foreign nations, 19 official delegations and well over a thousand exhibitors. Ameerali stated that some Surinamese businessmen will attend FIHAV, the largest commerce exhibition in Cuba. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Surinam)
